| System Requirements:
QuickTime 6.3 VirtualVTR may work, with earlier versions of QuickTime. However, since we do not test with earlier versions, these are not officially supported by Gallery. OS9.2.2 or Mac OS X 10.2.6 or later. VirtualVTR will work, in many cases, with Mac OS X 10.2 to 10.2.5, however it may not operate properly, and we do not test with earlier OSX versions, and hence systems earlier than 10.2.6 are not supported by Gallery. Similarly, earlier OS9 versions may work fine, but we only test and officially support the current version, 9.2.2 USB Port The USB port is required for the dongle. For best results, use a built-in USB port, although USB ports from PCI expansion cards will also generally work well. QuickTime Compatible Video Card / Device VirtualVTR will operate with no additional video hardware, playing back most types of movie on a VGA type monitor. However for most applications you will want a QuickTime compatible Video capture / playback card or interface. VirtualVTR supports all QuickTime compatible devices, although each device has its own quirks, and some aspects of VirtualVTR Pro are not designed to be used with all cards. Further information about this is given in the section covering Video Overlays in VirtualVTR Pro. ©2003 Gallery |
